Lawrence O'Donnell taunted Donald Trump after Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act following prolonged opposition. Both the House and Senate approved the bill in near-unanimous votes after months of effort and an 11th-hour Situation Room meeting. Trump announced the signing on Truth Social and claimed credit while saying he had asked Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune to pass the bill. O'Donnell said Trump fought the measure until being told he would lose in the Senate and accused Trump of insulting the intelligence of his supporters. The law will release the Epstein files.
