A masked ICE officer fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good in a Minneapolis residential neighborhood after agents crowded her car and she apparently tried to drive away. Mayor Jacob Frey demanded ICE agents leave the city and later issued a tongue-in-cheek apology while condemning the killing. Frey contrasted an obscenity with the act of killing, called for constitutional law enforcement, urged against racial discrimination targeting Somali and Latino residents, and emphasized de-escalation and avoiding pulling guns in tense situations. Video shows an officer approach an SUV, grab the door handle, and another officer immediately fire as the vehicle moves.
