Religious teachings are cited to argue that opposing such mistreatment is consistent with pro-life values. In San Jose, rising rents and an influx of tech jobs are pricing out Black and Brown families and squeezing household stability. Corporate growth should directly fund affordable housing and strengthen tenant protections to prevent evictions and preserve community diversity.
