""You read through these files, and you read about 15-year-old girls, 14-year-old girls, 10-year-old girls," Raskin said. "I saw a mention of a nine-year-old girl today. I mean, this is just preposterous and scandalous.""
""There are six men, some of them with their photographs, that have been redacted, and there's no explanation why those people were redacted," added Khanna. "That's really concerning.""
""What we're after is the men who Jeffrey Epstein trafficked women to," he said, adding that he intended to hold off from naming the men in order to give the DOJ opportunity to "correct their mistakes.""
Remaining Department of Justice files reveal sexual abuse victims as young as nine and include an alleged link between Jeffrey Epstein's trafficking network and a senior foreign government official. Democratic representatives Jamie Raskin and Ro Khanna and Republican Thomas Massie reviewed the withheld files at the DOJ using a secure terminal. The lawmakers identified redactions of six men's names and photographs without explanation and noted references to girls aged 10 to 15 and a nine-year-old victim. Massie, who helped pass the Epstein Files Transparency Act, warned he may disclose identities under the Speech and Debate Clause if the DOJ does not correct the redactions.
