Oversight Committee Chair James Comer expressed disappointment and emphasized questions about crimes, potential co-conspirators, truth, and justice for survivors. Trump denied misconduct and said released Epstein-related files absolve him, while The New York Times reported a search tool found Trump's name in 5,300 of those documents.
