Hours later, Donald Trump posted on Truth Social demanding McConnell fire the staffer. Trump identified the staffer as Robert Karem, accused him of being a Never Trumper with strong Democratic support, and claimed Karem made McConnell look foolish. Trump concluded by calling for Karem’s immediate dismissal.
