Hope Walz, 24, publicly condemned President Donald Trump's recent insult calling Gov. Tim Walz 'seriously retarded' and called the aftermath a 'f*cking sh*tstorm' of offensive language aimed at her family. She said supporters of the president have directed vile messages and slurs at her brother, who has a non-verbal learning disability, and that strangers have hurled the R-word at her family. The president also criticized Rep. Ilhan Omar and Somalis after reporting of a fraud scheme. Hope Walz said she understands public criticism of a governor but condemned personal attacks on family members and demanded accountability for abusive followers.
