The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) ended its relationship with U.S. lobbyists after launching a lobbying campaign aimed at members of Congress in January. Squire Patton Boggs, which lobbied on behalf of the RSS, terminated the campaign weeks after a media investigation detailed the lobbying activities. The lobbying firm filed amendments to registrations and quarterly reports on Dec. 23 and 29 that retroactively changed the listed client from the RSS to an individual, Vivek Sharma. Earlier filings showed State Street Strategies doing business as One+ Strategies as the client. Squire Patton Boggs received $330,000 in the first three quarters of 2025 to lobby on the matter.
