The clip was attached to a video full of baseless 2020 election conspiracy theories. The man who pushed the birther conspiracy continues using racist memes from far-right acolytes. The White House, Labor Department and Homeland Security Department have promoted posts echoing white supremacist messaging this term. The White House press secretary framed the clip as an internet meme showing President Trump as king of the jungle and Democrats as The Lion King. The post was deleted amid outrage and officials blamed a staffer, while some Republicans objected.
