Alkhatib called Mamdani's evasive answers disappointing and disturbing and said disarmament should be straightforward to demand. He described as contradictory claiming no opinion on international relations while promising to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu. The exchange included Martha MacCallum pressing Mamdani on denouncing Israel and the United States and on Hamas killing Palestinians and failing to return promised bodies.
