Gov. Ron DeSantis will propose dedicating a 2.63-acre parcel at Miami-Dade College's Wolfson Campus for a Donald J. Trump presidential library, with the proposal to be introduced at the Sept. 30 meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund. The parcel is currently used as an employee parking lot. The board, chaired by DeSantis and including the attorney general, chief financial officer and agriculture commissioner, oversees state land management. Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said he will vote yes. If approved, the project would be the first presidential library located in Florida.
