Still got the guns though, I don't trust the fascists to act politely. In another post, Platner confessed, I did used to love America, or at least the idea of it. These days I'm pretty disgusted by it all."
Controversial Reddit posts from 2020–2021 revealed inflammatory statements by Graham Platner, including anti-police language and assertions that rural white Americans are racist. The posts included self-descriptions as a communist and a "psychedelics taking socialist," and expressions of disillusionment with patriotic sentiment alongside references to retaining firearms.
