A group of crypto backers commissioned a 15-foot gold Donald Trump statue costing $300,000 to promote the memecoin $PATRIOT. The token briefly surged, reaching a market cap near $77.7 million and generating millions in daily trading volume around Trump’s January 2025 return to office.
