Club cancels MAGA comedian's shows after he called Renee Good a "ret**ded lesbian" - LGBTQ Nation
"Honestly, I don't see any way we can safely present this show in the current climate, I'm not sure any amount of security or preplanning would mitigate the liability I'd face if something happened."
"Yeah, her last name is Good, Bankas says from the stage, sipping a Coors Light. That's what I said"
Creative Artists Agency is supporting comedian Ben Bankas after Laugh Camp in St. Paul canceled his three-night engagement following a viral offensive routine about Renee Good. CAA demands full compensation for the canceled shows and has barred its other clients from booking the club until the dispute is resolved. Laugh Camp owner Bill Collins cited safety and liability concerns and estimated roughly $17,000 in refunds. Bankas posted the Renee Good set on Instagram after performing it days after Good was shot and killed by an ICE agent on Jan. 7.
