Joaquin Castro escorted a detained five-year-old and his father from a Texas facility back to Minnesota and called for the release of detained children and families. Rep. Kelly Morrison reported lack of medical policy, no nurse on site, no beds or adequate blankets, minimal food, locked cells, and leg shackles, calling the operation chaotic, disorganized, ineffective and dangerous.
