"OAKLAND - A Bay Area man who serves as the CEO of his own video production company is now a wanted fugitive, after judges in Contra Costa and Alameda counties issued arrest warrants for failing to appear in his stalking and sexual assault cases, court records show. Anthony Wiggins, 29, was charged in Alameda County with raping a woman in Dublin in May 2024."
"Police in Concord arrested Wiggins in July on suspicion of child sexual abuse but he was released from jail and thus far hasn't been charged. As part of the investigation, authorities say they've reviewed Wiggins' social media accounts, including for Vision Shot Films, a video production company Wiggins owns. The company's YouTube page displays videos for prominent acts in Vallejo, which have cumulatively garnered more than 800,000 views."
"Wiggins was arrested in Yolo County, but later released without bail, on the condition he "obey all laws" and participate in a 90-day rehabilitation program, records show. In the rape case, Wiggins' lawyer argued in court filings that Wiggins and the alleged victim actually had "consensual sexual intercourse on the night of this incident" after the two drank alcohol together, and that he never assaulted her either."
Anthony Wiggins, 29, is a wanted fugitive after judges in Contra Costa and Alameda counties issued $150,000 arrest warrants for failing to appear in stalking and sexual assault cases. He was charged in Alameda County with raping a woman in Dublin in May 2024 and faces stalking charges in Contra Costa from February. Authorities say Wiggins has lived in Solano and Contra Costa counties and was arrested in Concord in July on suspicion of child sexual abuse, but he was released and not charged on that matter. Investigators reviewed Wiggins' social media, including accounts for Vision Shot Films, whose YouTube videos have more than 800,000 cumulative views. An alleged victim accused him of raping her and dragging her by the hair, and he was arrested in Yolo County before being released without bail under conditions and a 90-day rehabilitation requirement. Wiggins' lawyer contends the encounter was consensual, while police said the alleged victim sent pretext messages and that Wiggins provided mainly self-serving statements.
