"On Dec. 27 at 4:58 a.m., a vehicle collided with and knocked over light pole at the intersection of Park Avenue and Merrick Road, police said. The light pole fell into the road and the vehicle fled the scene, police said. On Dec. 27 at 4:30 p.m., the clerk at a hotel in Rockville Centre was involved in a verbal dispute with a customer over parking, police said."

Early Dec. 27 a vehicle struck and knocked over a light pole at Park Avenue and Merrick Road; the pole fell into the road and the vehicle fled. Later Dec. 27 a hotel clerk had a verbal dispute with a customer over parking. On Dec. 28 a woman reported fraudulent debit card charges at a Bronx restaurant. On Dec. 29 a 79-year-old nursing home resident was found unresponsive and pronounced dead.
