Lidar scanners documented the life cycle of a saguaro cactus over six months, culminating in its fall in February 2024. This project involved researchers and artists, capturing both the emotional and ecological significance of the cactus. The resulting video is part of the 'Framerate: Desert Pulse' exhibition at the Desert Botanical Garden, showcasing Arizona's desert landscape and its flora. The exhibition also reflects on human activities, including housing developments and landfills, prompting discussions on sustainability and environmental impact.
