Hedge fund Woodline Partners reached a confidential settlement with former employee Danielle Kesich, who alleged sexual harassment and a hostile work environment due to co-founder Karl Kroeker. Just before a trial was scheduled, the San Francisco Superior Court confirmed the settlement. Kesich's court documents highlighted Kroeker's behavior, characterized by objectifying women and making inappropriate remarks. Although Woodline denied the allegations and claimed users raised no issues during employment, an investigation conducted by an independent attorney concluded that Kesich's allegations were unsubstantiated. Kroeker was the sole co-founder named in the suit.
