Prison guards intercept drone delivery of holiday steaks and crab legs for inmates
"Getting your Trinity Audio player ready... South Carolina prison guards posted a photo of a special delivery they claim to have intercepted en route to inmates at Lee Correctional Institution. Seems some folks were planning an early holiday Old Bay crab boil and steak dinner along with their marijuana and cigarettes all dropped by a drone at Lee CI, South Carolina Corrections officials captioned a photo posted to social media on Monday."
"The contraband care package appeared to include a carton of Lucky Strikes and Marlboro menthol cigarettes, a bag of rolling tobacco, a sealed package of beef, and crab legs. A plastic Piggly Wiggly shopping bag and liquid container were also pictured. It's not clear if authorities know who sent or who was hoping to receive the Christmas package. Lee CI houses roughly 1,800 high and medium security federal inmates in Bishopville, S.C."
