Tatiana Schlossberg died following a diagnosis of a rare type of acute myeloid leukaemia. The family announced her passing and expressed that she will always be in their hearts. She is survived by her husband George Moran, their young son and daughter, her parents Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg, and her siblings Jack and Rose Schlossberg. Doctors identified the condition shortly after she gave birth when an elevated white blood cell count was noted. She had written that she had swum a mile the day before and had not felt ill. Her work focused on climate change reporting and she criticized cuts to research funding.
