"The message is a simple reminder that Christmas belongs to all of us, and everyone is welcome to celebrate, the Church of England said."
"Every weekend in London is busy but that is especially the case at this time of year when the transport network, shop"
Tommy Robinson led a carol concert in London aimed at putting the Christ back into Christmas, with the Metropolitan Police estimating about 1,000 attendees at its peak. The turnout sharply contrasted with an estimated 110,000 who attended a previous unite the kingdom rally in September. The event was kept separate from a counter-protest organised by Stand Up to Racism, which said Robinson's momentum can be broken and called for a larger demonstration on 28 March. Robinson said he had once hated the church but learned about the Bible from a pastor in prison. Hymn sheets were handed out and flags and Santa hats were sold. Church of England figures warned against Christian nationalism and urged a message of compassion and welcome.
