In all, at least eight MEPs elected for either Ukip or the Brexit party are now known to have been the focus of efforts by Reform UK's former Wales leader Gill to co-opt them into fulfilling tasks set for him by his Kremlin paymasters."

At least eight MEPs elected for Ukip or the Brexit Party are said to have been targeted by Gill to co-opt them into carrying out tasks assigned by Voloshyn, who is accused of acting on behalf of Russian interests. CPS documents in Gill's case contain talking points that match the MEPs' statements. There is no suggestion that the three committed crimes or knew of Gill's alleged bribery. Police investigations continue and Labour has urged Nigel Farage to assist inquiries and review pro‑Russia links in Reform.
