Most Reform UK members believe non-white British citizens should be forced or encouraged to leave, poll finds
"54% of Reform members thought non-white British citizens born abroad should be forcibly removed or encouraged to leave, while one in five (22%) also supported it for non-white citizens whose parents were born in the UK."
"With a dilution of Reform's policies to win more moderate voters, or if they were to form a government, you could see a number of their members becoming quite disillusioned."
"HnH, which has been monitoring the far right for decades, said it was sounding an alarm on the rise of a more explicitly racial nationalism, which defines English identity by blood and ancestry. Its spread is dangerous because of the proposed solutions that follow, most notably remigration."
A poll of 629 Reform UK members conducted by Survation found that 54% believe non-white British citizens born abroad should be forcibly removed or encouraged to leave the country. Additionally, 22% support this policy for non-white citizens whose parents were born in the UK. The research, published by anti-racism group Hope Not Hate, reveals internal tensions within Nigel Farage's party as he attempts to appeal to centre-ground voters. Two-thirds of Reform members view Rupert Lowe positively, who recently launched the rival party Restore Britain and advocates mass deportations. Hope Not Hate warns of rising racial nationalism defining English identity through blood and ancestry, with proposed solutions including remigration policies that repackage ethnic cleansing concepts.
