A neighbour heard banging between 10:30pm and 11pm; eighteen minutes later a male caller from a public phone reported smoke and appeared to be speaking to someone at a nearby bus stop. Police released 999 audio and CCTV of a man seen entering St David’s Court at about 10:30pm; he is described as white, in his 30s at the time and now aged 60–70. The victim’s family appeals for information; her parents died without seeing justice.
