London will not exceed about 9C this week, with the coldest day on Thursday when air temperatures are forecast to reach 5C but feel like around 2C; overnight readings near 2C could feel like -2C or -3C. The Met Office forecasts widespread overnight frosts between Wednesday and Friday, and BBC Weather predicts sleet showers in London around 6–9am on Thursday; snow remains more likely in northern UK areas.
