Millie Bobby Brown was born in Marbella, Spain, and grew up in Dorset, England, and Orlando, Florida from age eight. She began acting classes in Orlando and moved with her family to Los Angeles to pursue a career. She was cast as Eleven in Stranger Things in 2015, and the series primarily films near Atlanta, Georgia. Her parents kept her in Georgia while she was a child to shield her from Los Angeles. In 2022 she bought her first house and now lives on a Georgia farm with her husband, many animals, rescue dogs, and their baby daughter.
