Family Guy Spinoff Stewie Picked Up for Two Seasons
"After getting the boot from his old preschool, Stewie is forced to enroll in a new one that's not exactly top-of-the-line. It's attended by a handful of kids he doesn't know, and a 75-year-old class turtle with a half-cocked theory on just about every subject. Stewie's miserable, the other kids are miserable, and even the turtle is miserable... until Stewie begins rolling out his trusty array of devices to take them anywhere in space and time, turning every boring day at school into an insane and surreal adventure."
FOX has greenlit Stewie, a spinoff of Family Guy focusing on the Griffin family's evil genius toddler. The series receives a two-season order and will premiere during the 2027-28 season, streaming on Hulu the next day and internationally on Disney+. Seth MacFarlane created the series with Family Guy writer-producer Kirker Butler and continues voicing Stewie. The show follows Stewie after his expulsion from his previous preschool, forced into a subpar new school with unfamiliar children and a 75-year-old class turtle. Stewie uses his inventive devices to transport classmates through space and time, transforming mundane school days into surreal adventures. This marks another expansion of MacFarlane's animated empire alongside Family Guy, American Dad!, and other established animated series.
