EARTH SEED: A People's Journey of Radical Hospitality is a documentary that explores collective futures through radical hospitality. It is rooted in influences from Octavia Butler’s Parables, the Black Panther Party, and the global south. Following a pilgrimage through California, the film interacts with BIPOC activists, artists, educators, farmers, youth, and elders, presenting models for survival. The project is supported by multiple foundations and individual donors. A panel discussion featuring key figures from the film will follow the screening, encouraging further engagement with its themes.
EARTH SEED invites us to envision and enact our collective future from a world awakening to its unraveling. The documentary follows a pilgrimage through California led by People's Kitchen Collective.
