What's your prediction for Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich in the Champions League...and why?
"Often this season, Bayern Munich has been overly brazen with putting a lot of responsibility on center-backs Dayot Upamecano and Jonathan Tah. Much like it did against PSG, though, Bayern Munich will have to defend as a team to come away with a win. Maybe even more important is that the Bavarians will have to come out flying, aggressive, and willing to attempt to put Arsenal on it heels immediately."
"Discomfort for Arsenal will be vital. As a wise man once said, "fatigue makes cowards of us all" - Bayern Munich must make Arsenal defend and battle with all its vigor while trying to stop the German Rekordmeister from scoring. If the Bavarians can make headway there, it could give them enough of an edge to wear down the Gunners and pick up the road victory."
Bayern Munich travels to London to face Arsenal in the Champions League. The Bavarians still look strong but appear to have lost some of their aura of dominance after a 2-2 draw with Union Berlin on November 8. Arsenal seems to be rounding into top form, making Bayern's back-to-back UCL matches against Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal especially difficult. Bayern has often placed heavy responsibility on center-backs Dayot Upamecano and Jonathan Tah. The team will need to defend collectively and begin the match aggressively to unsettle Arsenal. Vincent Kompany's decision on who replaces Luis Díaz is the biggest x-factor. Prediction: Arsenal 2-3 Bayern Munich.
