The club also said they will not be selling tickets in what will be a vacant away end, and warned against supporters reselling their tickets. Last week it emerged Villa previously told their matchday stewards they did not have to work at the fixture, saying they understood that some "may have concerns"."

Maccabi Tel Aviv declined any ticket allocation citing safety concerns after local authorities and West Midlands Police classified the fixture as high risk. Birmingham's safety advisory group had informed Villa no travelling fans would be permitted for the 6 November match. The UK government offered to fund policing to enable attendance. Villa limited ticket access to supporters with purchase history prior to this season, will not sell in the away end, and advised against ticket resale.
