Brighton pulled one back, but Raya's intervention kept Arsenal ahead and secured the three points. Manchester City were briefly top after beating Nottingham Forest, but Arsenal's victory returned them to the summit of the Premier League. Raya, a former Brentford goalkeeper, has been an upgrade over Aaron Ramsdale. The save could prove decisive in a tight title race.
