'Noa has to work' - Conte responds to Lang's frustration over lack of minutes - Soccer News
"Every player wants to play. I don't know what else to do. It's better not to say anything,"
"I signed a contract here, and I have to accept it as it is. I don't have any other choice."
"Lang spent the full pre-season with us and played some games, but he was never a starter,"
"Noa has to work, and he'll go onto the pitch when I decide. Otherwise, he'll stay on the bench."
Antonio Conte insisted Noa Lang must work harder in training after Lang expressed frustration about limited playing time since joining Napoli. Lang joined from PSV in pre-season for a reported €25m and has yet to start a competitive match for the club. He came off the bench in the Champions League meeting with PSV as Napoli suffered a 6-2 defeat in the Netherlands. Napoli conceded six goals in a European Cup match for the first time and have lost their last four away Champions League matches, equalling a prior losing streak. Conte emphasised team decisions and said Lang will play when he decides.
