"According to a report from Sky Germany journalist Kerry Hau (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Muncih coach Vincent Kompany is extremely happy with the progress made by David Santos Daiber and Felipe Chávez. Kompany is such a fan that he will continue to include the youngsters in first team training, but that does not necessarily mean that there will be an opportunity for either player for a regular roster spot 2026/27."
"This is life at Bayern Munich. While the book is certainly not closed on either player for the future, earning a permanent first team position is tough - and even when the club likes you, nothing is guaranteed. Vincent Kompany is very pleased with the training performances of David Santos Daiber and Felipe Chávez. Both players will continue to train regularly with Bayern Munich's first team while remaining eligible for summer loan moves. David Santos Daiber has drawn inquiries from Bundesliga clubs. Felipe Chávez has attracted interest from La Liga, Serie A, and the 2. Bundesliga. Permanent first-team roster spots at Bayern remain difficult to secure despite positive evaluations. Loans are likely to provide regular senior minutes and development pathways. Club optimism does not guarantee long-term first-team placement for either player.
