"This was a good reaction to the disappointing midweek loss to Chelsea FC. Bayern Munich's U-19s traveled to SC Freiburg, knowing they were level on points with the hosts (though with a game in hand) and that a win here would give them a huge advantage at the top of the table. The team put in a performance to match that ambition early on, dominating the match throughout, playing pretty football and restricting Freiburg to nothing more than half chances."
Bayern Munich's U-19s won 3-1 away at SC Freiburg after conceding an early goal. Goalscorers were Pavlić (47'), Göttlicher (69') and Afanou (90+6), with Klaus scoring for Freiburg (19'). Starting lineup included Prescott; Wijks, Lambe, Pavlić, Ofli; Göttlicher, Santos; Cardozo, Olychenko, Chemwor; Gashi. Unavailable players included Oluwaseyi Wilson, Noah Codjo-Evora, Michel Ekodi, Frank Egwuatu, Luis Schäfer, Wisdom Mike and Cassiano Kiala. Bayern dominated possession and chances after falling behind. U-17 highlights were not released. The U-23s did not play this week. The U-19 match is free to watch on YouTube in Germany or via VPN.
