Mammoth Mountain Spring Hours & Lift Schedule: May 11
"Mammoth Mountain will move to its spring hours beginning Monday, May 11, running daily from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as the California resort enters the final stretch of its 2025-26 season. Lift Schedule Under the New Mammoth Mountain Spring Hours Seven lifts will spin under the reduced schedule: Broadway Express (1), Stump Alley Express (2), Face Lift Express (3), Unbound Express (6), Discovery Express (11), Chair 23, and the Panorama Gondola."
"The Unbound Express (6), which serves Mammoth's terrain park, will run an extended daily window from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to allow for afternoon park laps. High Five Express (5) and Gold Rush Express (10) are set to reopen May 15-17 for a weekend window. The resort confirmed skiing and riding will continue through at least Memorial Day."
"As of May 11, snowpack at the summit is 125″. At 11,053 feet with 3,500 skiable acres, Mammoth holds the highest summit of any California resort, a distinction that helps it hold snow well into the warmer months. The 2025-26 season has been below Mammoth's historical benchmarks. The resort averages around 400 inches of snow per season, and sat at 293 inches season-to-date heading into March."
"The earlier hours are designed to take advantage of morning sunshine before the temperatures get too high, a familiar trade-off during Mammoth's spring "Second Season." All lift access has operated out of the Main Lodge since the Canyon and Eagle lodges closed on April 19. Memorial Day weekend at Mammoth is scheduled for May 23-25, with mountain activities and a full event lineup planned."
