Big White Ski Resort was voted Best International Ski Resort for Families in the 2025 Out & About with Kids Readers' Choice Awards. More than 40,000 Australian families participated in the voting. The resort emphasized long-term investment in family services, including a Kids' Centre for the Ski and Board School and the new Tot Town Daycare. Phase 2 of the Kids' Centre expansion in the Village Centre Mall will open for the 2025–26 winter season and will include a dedicated space for children aged four to five. Resort leaders say facilities and staff aim to make parents' days easier and children’s days more fun.
