""Maybe climate change is a good way of dealing with overpopulation," Epstein wrote. "The earths forest fire. potentially a good thing for the species.""
""too many people, so many mass executions of the elderly and infirm make sense is the fundamental fact that everyone dies at some time .make it imporrisbole to ask so why not earilier. if the brain discards unused neurons, why sholdsociety keep their equivalent.""
""Lomborg cynically uses his feigned concern for the poor and downtrodden people of the Global South to justify continued fossil fuel dependence," Mann asserts, "when in fact it is they who will suffer the most from continued planetary warming.""
Newly released emails show Jeffrey Epstein proposing that climate change could serve as a mechanism to reduce global overpopulation. Epstein wrote that "the earths forest fire" could be "potentially a good thing for the species" and suggested mass executions of the elderly and infirm while comparing unused neurons to societal members. The messages contained numerous typos and disturbing rationales. Climatologist Michael Mann characterized the sentiments as consistent with Epstein’s circle and pointed to associate Bjorn Lomborg. Lomborg has been criticized for spreading climate misinformation and for arguments that can justify continued fossil fuel dependence, which would disproportionately harm the Global South.
