LaRussell filmed multiple music videos for "I'm From The Bay" featuring students from James Logan High School, Tennyson High School and Pittsburg High School. The videos showcase LaRussell rapping, dancing and interacting with uniformed color guard members, band members and student athletes on their campuses. The clips have collected tens of thousands of views across social media. LaRussell, born LaRussell Thomas in Vallejo, plans a regional takeover with more videos at colleges and high schools alongside business partners over the next year. The song, produced by Lil Jon, celebrates Bay Area slang, cities, area codes and local hip-hop legends.
