"Many people leave school without understanding inflation, tax relief, pensions and investing. There's plenty of life lessons people wish they knew when they were younger. Many individuals complete their education without acquiring essential financial literacy skills, particularly regarding inflation, tax relief, pensions, and investment strategies. This knowledge gap leaves young adults unprepared to make informed financial decisions. Seven financial experts were consulted to identify the most valuable financial advice they wish they had received during their youth. Their insights highlight the disconnect between formal education and practical financial knowledge needed for long-term wealth building and financial security.
