"In October, home prices fell slightly from the month before, with a median listing price of $385,000. The number of listings on the market shrank 2.0% from last month, which is a bigger decrease than normal for this time of the year in Albuquerque, and homes are also selling slower than at the same time last year. But the most recent data shows that the price per square foot decreased by 0.8% compared with the month before."
"In October, there were 1,211 homes for sale in Albuquerque, which was 2.0% less than the month before and 11.0% more than the same time last year. Meanwhile, active inventory across the nation remained practically unchanged from last month to 1,100,001. The number of new listings in Albuquerque was 548, which was 3.5% less than the month before and 5.8% less than the same time last year. Nationally, the number of new listings fell by 2.7% from last month to 384,264."
Median listing price in Albuquerque in October was $385,000, a slight decline from the previous month. Price per square foot in Albuquerque decreased 0.8% month-over-month, matching the national per-square-foot decline of 0.8%. Active inventory in Albuquerque totaled 1,211 homes, down 2.0% from the prior month and up 11.0% year-over-year. New listings numbered 548, a 3.5% monthly decline and a 5.8% year-over-year decrease. Homes averaged 66 days on market, six days longer than the prior month and 12 days longer than the same month last year, versus a national average of 63 days.
