Pokemon Company Employee Arrested For Spying On Bathrooms
""He told us that he had placed a camera in his workplace bathroom," a detective wrote in the report. "I asked him if there were any transgender people that work in his office and he said yes.""
""mainly curious about transgender people and was not attracted to children.""
""no more than fifty times,""
A 44-year-old man in Bothell, Washington, was arrested after a hidden camera was found in a Starbucks bathroom in Kirkland. He told law enforcement he had hidden cameras in bathrooms dozens of times in public places including supermarkets and his workplace. Investigators traced his last employer via a since-deleted LinkedIn account to The Pokémon Company; the company says he is no longer employed and is cooperating with law enforcement. Prosecutors allege he targeted transgender colleagues. Bellevue police said they had not received workplace reports and encouraged anyone with information to contact them. Police seized equipment and a hard drive from his home.
