Paris summer features a dense cultural calendar with major exhibitions, reopened museums, and new spaces to explore. JR’s temporary installation La Caverne du Pont-Neuf will transform the Pont Neuf, Paris’s oldest bridge, into a monumental contemporary artwork from June 6 to 28, 2026. The project pays tribute to Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s The Pont Neuf Wrapped and offers a rare chance to see a familiar landmark in a new way. Matisse, 1941-1954 at the Grand Palais runs until July 26, 2026, presenting more than 300 works from the final years of Matisse’s career, spanning paintings, drawings, cut-out gouaches, illustrated books, textiles, and stained glass.
