The suspect grabbed two purses containing a cellphone, wallet, credit cards, jewelry and $120, then fled on a bicycle. The victim was not injured. Police released photos and video of a suspect described as a man about 5'9" wearing a gray hat, dark coat and blue jeans, and asked people to contact Crime Stoppers. No arrests have been made. 24th Precinct robberies are down 29% year-to-date; overall major crime is up nearly 4%.
