The 2025 TCS New York City Marathon attracted thousands of runners alongside visible celebrity participants who completed the 26.2-mile course across five boroughs. Several celebrities posted respectable finish times: Matt James finished in 3:31:10 with Team Mastercard, Ben Gibbard in 3:36:07 for Protect Our Winters, Claire Holt in 3:39:03 improving her PR, Jordan Litz in 3:40:53 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and Dave Depper in 3:54:21. Anthony Ramos made a marathon debut in 4:44:31, cheered by Des Linden and finishing under five hours. Many participants ran for charity, personal records, camaraderie, or simply for the experience.
