Anthony Griffen, 44, attacked three individuals with a knife at Grand Central Station, injuring them before police intervened. Officers encountered Griffen, who was acting erratically and claiming to be 'Lucifer.' After multiple commands to drop the knife, he advanced towards the detectives, leading to his shooting. The victims, aged 65, 70, and 84, were hospitalized with serious injuries. The incident resulted in two police officers also being hospitalized. The suspect was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital.
