"I feel a sense of pride, but also a sense of responsibility"
"Our collective strength lies in unity, not uniformity."
"I stand before you tonight profoundly grateful for the opportunity to serve and represent this organization that has consistently embraced and uplifted Latino communities in all their diversity - recognizing that our collective strength lies in unity, not uniformity,"
Lillian Mosley will serve as the Puerto Rican Bar Association's 69th and 70th president following a bylaws change to two-year tenures. The induction ceremony occurred at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Five officers were installed for the 2026–2027 term: Lissett Ferriera, Francis Rivera-Medero, Erika Calderon, Jessica Brenes, and Martha Carrasquillo. Fifteen directors were acknowledged, including Hon. Mary Rosado and Julia Galban-Carter. Mosley described the PRBA as a pillar of strength and advocacy, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve, and emphasized unity over uniformity while praising outgoing president Renier Pierantoni.
