The Jets remain concerned about offensive inconsistency, with the quarterback position identified as the main issue behind an 0-7 start. Rookie head coach Aaron Glenn has shown some positive signs, while defense and special teams have improved. Justin Fields was benched recently in favor of Tyrod Taylor and has a 91.1 passer rating this season, above his career average of 84.6. The team signed Fields to a two-year contract and had named him starter until the recent change. Aaron Rodgers was released earlier and now plays for the Steelers, where he has a 4-2 record.
