'Locked in' Giannis says agent talk out of his hands
"If my agent is talking to the Bucks about it, he's his own person. He can have any conversation he wants,"
"At the end of the day, I personally have not had the conversation with the Bucks. I'm still locked in, locked in on my teammates, most importantly locked in on me getting back healthy."
"It doesn't affect my work, " It doesn't affect my relationship with my teammates, it doesn't affect my relationship with my coach. It doesn't affect my relationship with the GM. So, it doesn't really bother me because they know what I'm about...right now, we cannot be worrying about what the [reports] are."
Giannis Antetokounmpo says he is locked in on getting healthy and has not personally discussed his future with the Milwaukee Bucks. He acknowledges that his agent may speak with the Bucks and that those conversations are beyond his control. Antetokounmpo has been sidelined since Dec. 3 with a right calf strain. He responded to public speculation about whether his best fit is in Milwaukee or elsewhere by emphasizing current priorities: health and team performance. The Bucks entered the day 11th in the Eastern Conference with an 11-16 record. Antetokounmpo says the speculation does not affect his work or his relationships with teammates, the coach or the general manager.
