More than 3,000 teenagers attended a free annual teen night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The event began on the museum steps with a performance by the Bard High School Early College Panthers step group. Teen visitors arrived excited, many having never been to the museum before, and some aimed to stand where celebrities had appeared. The crowd included giggling groups moving through marble hallways and taking photos in prominent spaces. The night offered over 75 activities across the museum, including a pop-up podcast, jewelry making, trying on costume pieces, DJ and jazz performances, virtual reality, and art sketching. Teens explored the museum while engaging with art and culture in multiple formats.
